On kindle so forgive the potential for awkward punctuation and capitalization.
I am just starting to research study materials for the nclex. I need a favor. Can you all list the books, classes, quizzes you are studying from?
I would like to make a list and decide what I want to purchase.
Can you list the name of the study guide,
what it is (book with content, question book, live class, web class, so on...) and what is unique or the specialty of the resource
And a general thumbs up or down. It would be helpful to know if you passed, failed, still studying.
I just want to make sure I am considering all options.
Thanks!

Passed on the first try with 75 questions on June 14, 2013.
All I used to prepare was:
* Hurst Review (live) - highly recommend! I went to the 3 day live review then did the online portion that comes with it. I read through their book 3 times (counting the time we went through it during the review). I did 4 out of their 6 practice tests online, and reviewed their extra material once.
* NCLEX Mastery app (for Android) - I loved this app. It had over 1400 practice questions, including SATA, with excellent rationales, helpful mnemonics, and testing strategies. I only did about 1/4 of the questions, but they were very good and I would rate most of them very close to nclex-like.
That's it. I feel the content review of Hurst prepared me well enough that I could pick the best answer, and the NCLEX Mastery reinforced what NCLEX style questions would be like.
Good luck to you!
