I like coming on here and seeing everything everyone posts of passing and different stuff. I have taken the nclex 2 times already and every time before the test, Bad things happen to me I am so down. I had this whole plan in my head that I was gonna be supermotivated but now the closer I get to it the more I think I'm going to waste my money. I have no money and my son is sick, I thought that after nursing school I would start working and everything would be fine. But I have been unemployed for way to long and can't find a job doing anything else because I'm overqualified or don't have experience. I live in fl but applied to NY to take the test because I studied in PR and Fl will not accept my transcripts from PR but NY did. I am so sad and broke I just feel like giving up. Any help or prayer needed I would appreciate. I cant change the day of the test because its the last chance I have. :crying2:

Im using hurst review plus lacharity and saunders.I have a couple of stuff I can share if you want but its just my situation something always happens before the test and I know I can do it. Its just I dont know my insecurity plus everything else I dont know. Need to get my act together and stop moping. If God helped us pass nursing school why wouldn't help us pass this test right?

:( sorry. Focus is the main thing here. To be focus you must be motivated too. There's a good book called The Secret. It's pretty much about "if you believe it you'll achieve" kinda thing. "think positive and positive thing will come" "thing negative and negative things will come" ...maybe this book can help you.

As for the Nclex review, I studied Mosby's review book and Kaplan strategies book. I think Kaplan helped me choose THE BEST ANSWER...good luck and think positive. I'll pray for all of you :hug:

1. Kaplan QBANK (50 -100/ day) -

2. Get some sleep before the test.

3. Brush up on these topics : Infection Control, Delegation, Therapeutic Communication, Normal Values, Developmental Stages (Erickson)

Just to inspire you. I graduated in 2008., BSN Degree, worked for a bank for 2 years, hence I forgot most stuffs I learned. Decided to pursue my profession June 2011, took my exam Yesterday in NYC, I answered 75 questions. Did the Pearson Vue trick 100 times, got the good pop up! (fingesr crossed).
