Here is a link....in case you did not know about the changes in the NCLEX
NCLEX ALTERNATE ITEM FORMAT...this link takes you to NCSBN.org
I won't take the test until next year, but I have a good friend who is taking it this year. She got the impression from her instructors that they aren't going to make the new test any more difficult because if there was a sudden drop in pass rates, they couldn't justify having this "NEW" format. Makes sense...but she is still freaking out!
My friend just took the new NCLEX on the 9th and she happened to get a regular test-nothing new about it. So I think you could get questions of the new type or not. She checked before going and was told the change has been made so she was expecting something different(it's her 2cnd time) but it was all good. By the way, she called me this a.m. and she passed!!!! YEAHHHH!!!!

I finally got used to taking these tests NCLEX style....and then they go and change them on me.....
Has anyone had the privelage of taking the new NCLEX yet?
Feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Were there alot of questions that were not your standard multiple choice?
Were the new questions a high level of difficulty?
Any other comments would be helpful!
Oh and please let me know if you passed....if YOU know!
