NCLEX Candidate Performance Report

Nursing Students NCLEX

As i have shared in the past on this forum, i have taken Nclex 3times already. The 1st time i had 265q and my report was near passing on most sections, above, and below on 2 sections. When i took it 2nd time also 265q with some near passing, but not in as many sections as when i took it 1st time. For my 3rd attempt i only had 86q and i studied way more by doing questions and reading the rationales then for the first 2 attempts, my report has just arrived and seemed to me very all over the place, i got more below the passing on several sections then with my previous attempts? So at this point im really confused as far as my weaker area for the content knowledge that im lacking. I also do undersand that it was very different questions etc each time i took it, but how shall i evaluate and treat this report in order to help me to come up with a better study plan.

Thanks

What is your study plan? Have u taken a review course such as Kaplan? You have an advantage in receiving your performance report because you can see what areas you did poorly in. Focus on those areas, pick up a Saunders review book and practice questions. If you can do 150-200 questions per day and STUDY and UNDERSTAND rationales, you should be ok. Personally, I took the Kaplan course and I feel that it overprepared me for the NCLEX. I know its expensive, but i feel it was wirth every penny. I studied from Saunders Review book. Good luck! Praying for you, you can do it!

@pongtipRN thanks for the kind words.

I have taken the Anderson Review Live 5 day course, which i think is similar to Kaplan. its very known in my state.

I am using nclex 4000 computerized program, PDA,

when you did kaplan did you use there online q bank?

Thanks

Yes I did, I did all of the question trainers, scored between 58-64%, and I did about half of the qbank questions

Where are you getting your 150-200 questions/day? Like are you using a book, computer review or an online review?

I used the Kaplan question trainers and qbank. I also briefly used nclex 3500 (its free, there is a link somewhere on this site) but I found the Kaplan questions more challenging. There's also a nclex 4000 but I believe u have to pay for that one. I also took out 4 Q&A books from the library, but flipping back and forth to check my answers were too tedious for me so I scrapped that and just went with kaplan.
