NC A&T ABSN 2018

Published

Hello all!

I applied to the NC A&T absn 2018 cohort and wanted to know if anyone else has and where you are in the process? I had an interview in June and waiting to hear back. I was told we would know by June 30th and they would like to accept 25 students (if I remember correctly). Feel free to post your stats and if your applying to any other schools. Also if anyone from other cohorts would like to give insight on the program an their experience that would be extremely helpful as well! Look forward to hearing from everyone!

Do they call you or email you for interview?

They sent a email

Thank you I submitted my documents around August 8 so I just have to wait

This was the first school I had intended on applying to but haven't yet. I have all pre-reqs completed except my TEAS test and CNA. I am taking the TEAS next week and I will work on my CNA soon. I was a CNA in the past but my license expired. I have a current EMT certification so I will just need to take the CNA exam. I need to look over the material/skills for it. I hope to send in my application in a couple of weeks. I have applied to 3 other schools. Two of them are other ASBN programs...and the other is an associates program. So far I have heard back from two (one ASBN and one Associates). I was accepted into both of the ones I have heard back from. I have to make a decision soon as the associates program wants a decision by Sept 8th for a Jan start date. The ASBN program doesn't start until May. The other ASBN program I haven't heard back from yet ....well I heard they don't send out admissions decisions until Mid October. I am not sure what I will do.

Have you found out if you got accepted? What was your GPA? I'm going to be applying in April! I have a 3.65 GPA and all A's in prereqs so far...do you think I have a good shot of getting in?

Yes I got in I had a 3.8 and most A's on my prerequisites I majored in biology my teas was over requirement
