Hey everyone in the NCC Nursing program - any hints, suggestions, "dos and don'ts" for a new evening student? I start in September and my biggest concern is the clinical. I work until 4:45 and clinical starts at 5:00 (I really wish it was at 5:30 like the regular classes) Luckily the hospital is 3 miles from my job, but I don't want to tell my boss. My nursing degree will mean that I leave the profession I'm in, so better not to say anything until I'm ready to go...right now I still need the salary and the BENEFITS!! I've heard that the instructors are tough, but are they flexible at all? If I hit traffic it may be the difference of being on time or 5 minutes late, we all know how driving on LI can be! Any insight you can offer on your experiences at Nassau are greatly appreciated.
