My MBON fast experience

Everyone has always said the Maryland board of nursing moves so slow and it takes weeks to get things done so I was so worried about getting my application in and processed to test. I sent my application in the mail on a Friday via fedex with a tracking number so I would know when it arrived. It got to the MBON on that Monday 10am. My check was cashed by them on that Wednesday. once I saw that I started making calls just to make sure they had everything they needed so there would be no hold up (the schools sends the proof of training). I was told that the scanner had been broken for the last few days and they had a piled up of applications waiting to be scanned. This scared me because that meant it could be weeks. I called everyday working with Mrs. Kennedy (she is great) she went and pulled my application out of the pile (I guess she figured this girl is not going to give up) and processed it by hand. 10 days from the day my fedex tracking confirmed delivery I had my ATT email and was able to take my NCLEX 1 week later. So if you haven't heard anything please call. I know it can be hard to get in contact with MBON but don't give up. good luck
