MUSC FALL 2018 Financial Questions

Published

I have a question for any current students, past students, or future students if you know the answer:

I'm wondering about scholarships/financing options. I read on the website that many 2nd Bachelors students have to take out private loans. From what I've seen in past forums, scholarships seemed scarce, but I also saw other people who had posted that question, did in fact, end up attending the ABSN program so I was wondering if any of you are willing to share some insight on financial options.

My EFC is 0 so I'm trying real hard to be excited about being accepted but also nervous when it comes to the finances part.

I saw two scholarships that are listed with a contract of required employment:

MUSC Medical Center Scholarship - 2 year commitment

Roper Patron Scholarship - 1 year commitment

but under the CON application, these two weren't listed. The description made it seem like you could be a current employee OR a student willing to commit to these facilities. Any one know if this is the case?
