how much do you make as a cna including experence-15.56 3 years work for a goverment owned facility raises- none on a pay freeze for 2 years just want to know what my possible options could be as a cna, in the future and different fields of cna/med tech or option i could have without having to go to school only training or certification fields?

we have cna med techs here that start at about what i am making and then go up to 21+. there are not many paths for cna as in nursing such as er,picu, icu etc etc. some options though are if you work in a hospital rather than nursing homes. hospitals may have a cna on a med surg or in the er which would probably be more exciting than what i do and may even pay more not sure. and they may train you so that you could help out more on the floor for instance at my place cna may do colostomy changes(wafer and bag) and can setup tube feeder machine such as seting the rates, connecting-disconnecting, and more.

right now cna is my only choice i use to be a "NA" not certified, our RN teacher/instructor retired so yeah then a week later i quit,(i worked for 4 months and yeah) i couldent work 16hour shifts, everyother day sometimes 2 days in a row, (cna's had to work more) and 12hrs on weekends usually u worked 9-11 days in a row and get 2-3 days off work, and one ****** ass nuses that threw a fit about eveything, very loud and obsurd, there was one insoden that visitory got upset because of her! and she complained and upset too many cna's/good friends i had, and that nurse would see me going from one cna to help out hospice and she'd run to the don and make a complant, not just that several other ocasions also! there was so much bs and complants happened ther idk how many wright up for false lies i had to sign to keep my job...(ik when i get certified im not gonna risk signing or writing a stupid essay ill walk out and quit if that happens!)then i realized it wasnt worth it and quit! and eventually that place got shut down, reopened eventually and got new management! only making 7.25 a hour working 60+hrs a week so yeah, now i live in a big city and i have friends that are cna's and started out at 10.25hr, now its a little higher and only have to work 40hrs a week and have option working more hours! this place that i did work was in a small town and there are lots of good nursing homes out here so yeah! ty

I make roughly 9.75 hourly at a ltc nursing center. If you work a weekend you aren't scheduled you get a 25$ bonus and an extra .25 an hour.
