MTSU nursing spring 2017 hopefuls

According to my nursing advisor at MTSU they no longer do interviews. I am a Spring 2017 hopeful as well :)

@mr6m thanks, I didn't know about that, i'm a transfer student from tsu, and all my advisor at MTSU told me was the prerequisite I needed to get in. Just keeping my fingers crossed.

I wouldn't worry too much though if I were you! Congrats on your awesome HESI score and gpa! I have 4.0 but I am retakin the HESI next week before I submit my full application because my first score was awful, I got an 82.8. Probably mostly because I'm still in the process of a&p 2 and micro. I haven't slept in weeks and I'm sure I won't until we get those decision letters! Lol

my advisor told me about there are 200-250 applicants each semester and 64 get in. This is the first semester that they are only basing it off of GPA and HESI.

@mr6m, how did your HESI retake go?, I spoke with my advisor and she confirmed what you said about the interview not being used any longer. She also said twe would find out about the acceptance about a week after the application deadline.

well its all a waiting game now! i came back with a 90.5. I'm nervous about it, but I hope it's enough! It's reassuring to know we will get the results so quickly. good luck!

Nothing yet when I turned in my application the lady in the office said to look for an email in the second week of October.. well here we are and nothing! Hopefully soon because I'm super anxious as well!
