Mt. Saint Mary's University (MSMU LA)

Hello everyone! This question goes to all MSMU nursing students (TBSN/ABSN etc...) How is the nursing program in general? (Pacing/Clinical sites/teachers) How is the environment, specifically the Chalon campus? (dorming/activities/etc...)

Any and all comments, experiences, and suggestions are highly appreciated!

Hello! I am not a nursing student yet, but I just got accepted to the TBSN for Fall 2023. I dormed this first year (2022-2023) at the Chalon campus. I can't give you advice on the nursing program just yet, but for Chalon, there was a lot of different activities that often included free stuff. Like for Christmas, they do a candle lighting and have dressed up Santa and elves, plus we had free mini pancakes and a photo booth. They usually do fun stuff for every holiday or even randomly. I would def recommend getting into the Rossiter Hall because the Brady/ Carondelet do not have AC. Some ppl complain that Chalon is way out from everything but if you have a car or don't mind taking the shuttles you'll be fine
