I used to visit my grandfather in the hospital in PR all the time and the nurses never have 15+ patients and did not get paid that low.
However because PR has a lower standard of living I could understand a CNA or Tech being paid 6.00 dollars an hour. however an RN or LPN should be making 17.00 or more.
In the U.S. every state has its own standaard of living but as a CNA expect 10-15 dollars an hour and as an RN 20-30 dollars. Do not forget that rent and utilities are more expensive in the US than in PR

Hi, my name is Mr. Torres and my wife and me are Nurses. We got plans to move to Ocala FLorida in January 2007. Here in Puerto Rico the Nurse Salary is $6.00 Per Hour or less, and we have to work with 15 patients or more. I hope that somebody that moves to the states tell me about your experiences, the kind of job that you release and about your salary.
