Lynn, I would get a lawyer Before this whole process begins. I dont know from your post if you have an addiction or not? A
DUI certainly raises a red flag especially with the Board of Nursing! Be prepared before you are forced to enroll in IPN!! Of you have an addiction then you will be forced to enroll in the program and comply with the stipulations which they place on you and your Nursing License. If you dont have an addiction you could still be forced to enroll in this program to keep your license. I would get a lawyer and be prepared even before your initial evaluation especially if you dont have an addiction? Good luck keep us informed.

Im a LPn and im currently in good standing and have active nursing in my home state. I moved to fl. In aug. and started the process of transferring nursing license, i have been requested to have an ipn eval because of a dui on my background check. can anyone shed some light on what im looking at and what to expect? Please and Thank you.
