Can anyone let me know if this school has a great nursing program and how long the process takes. I also saw on their website that they are in the process of renewing their accreditation. Any advice interms of which good nursing schools are in dc metro area, md or va. Could be either a bsn program or lpn. Also, if i have nursing courses from another school, will my nursing courses be transfered to either bsn or lpn school? Any advice, suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

I was told that they are at this time under a Nursing School Accreditation review. They are not accredited, but hope to be accredited shortly. I'm going to hold off for a bit.

Mountain State University lost accreditation for their nursing program as of this spring. They are trying to get accreditation by another body, CCNE. Also, the Higher Learning Commission ordered them to show why the school should not lose accreditation for every programs. Do not start the nursing program there; if they have not told you that their nursing program is not accredited, they are lying by omission.

Thanks RNJackie for responding to my post but are you also trying to attend once they get back their accreditation? Thanks cos I really want to go there.

Thanks for the advice and info, will wait untill they get back their accreditaton. Are you a current or prospective student who knows a little about the school? Cos if you are then I would like to get some information and if that will be okay with you.
