Mount Sinai HR!?!?

Published

Hi. So I graduated 3 years ago with my BSN. I worked as an RN in a sub-acute rehab and now I'm an RN in a NYC public hospital for one year. I am DESPERATE to get out of the draining/short staffed/no growth environment I'm working in.

I apply to Mount Sinai Health system DAILY. I want to work there! The HR seems like a mess. I was called in for an in person interview with a recruiter, she was only interested in ICU experience which I don't have, so the interview went nowhere.

I was then called for a phone interview by another HR recruiter for oncology. The in person interview with the NM went so well (in my opinion) and she was so nice. That was on 8/3/17. I haven't heard back. So I moved on.

I received a phone call from another HR recruiter. On 9/13/17 I went to an interview on a telemetry/ED observation floor with the NM. He was also SO nice. Both interviews felt promising, but I guess I don't know how to read the NM's. I received an email from HR a day later saying they needed more information from me. Then the next day they asked for five references through the skill-survey. I submitted my references the next day, all were completed (all high level professionals vouching for me). The recruiter emailed me and told me she wanted to set up a FaceTime interview with me. I emailed her back same day 9/15/17. it's been 11 days she still has not emailed or called me. I emailed the NM yesterday and he told me HR will contact me, but he had told me during the interview whether it is a yes/no they will notify me. WHEN?!?!?!?!? I'm going crazy losing patience!!! Thank you for reading this rant!

Hi that sounds like a hot mess, why would they have you go through all the process to not get back to you, did you eventually hear from them??? I have a phone screen/interview with mount Sinai, I would like to know what I can expect to better prepare.
