I will be applying to MSMU (Los Angeles) ABSN program for Fall of 2026. The Mount is my first choice.
I really want to go here, if anyone has any advice please let me know. I am particularly interested in stats of those accepted. I have a B in chem and there is definitely a possibility of getting an A but I do have to be prepared to get a B. All other pre reqs I have an A. I've gone to multiple info sessions, and attended one in person. I live in the Bay Area and flew down just for the open house. My GPA over all is a high 3.6. If Im able to get an A in chem it should rise to a 3.7. Like I said before, 4.0 in all other pre-reqs (as of RN).
Do I have the stats to get in? Is a B OK?
I have a really good letter recommendation from a Nurse Specialist at Kaiser (I volunteer) and one from a nursing home volunteer program. I will be getting CNA certified in January. Applications due March 1.
