More Questions Re: Nursing in Australia_Bridging Program

Published

Hello, I'm new and would love more information regarding nursing in Australia, specifically about bridging programs. I've read a number of very useful forums here and am now sifting through AHPRA and DIAC posts/forms/documents as recommended. But I do have some questions on a few more things, please bear with me :)

Here they are:

  • Does having a relative who's a permanent resident in Australia/citizen in New Zealand (sponsor) help with the chances of approval for a student visa or getting into a university/TAFE or is it both?
  • Would it be better to mail required documents to my relatives who, in turn, will send to AHPRA or just send it directly to an AHPRA office?
  • The IELTS results will arrive at AHPRA's office separately, right? I'm a bit paranoid regarding lost documents, AHPRA will know how to organize each and every application even though the IELTS doc arrives later/earlier, is that correct?
  • Will RN conversion program be more useful to someone like me, whose nursing experience was limited to 6months volunteer work then almost 2 years of not working as a nurse not to mention not having an IVT versus taking a bridging course? (BTW, if anyone has further information on RN conversion, can you please tell me more about it).

I'll be eternally grateful to anyone who can provide me answers for these :D
