Hello All,
I have a quick question as my teas test is approaching soon. Is the actual exam (styled questions) more so like the Mometrix practice questions in the book or the ATI manual?
I just want to make sure I am studying as close as I can to the actual exam!
Thank you future nurse friends! Cheers!

I think the questions are set up more like the ones in the ATI book, but the Mometrix has good material in it. I used both--bought the ATI study book and took free sample tests at the Mometrix site, and they worked well for me.
I liked the ATI study book because it narrowed down the topics I had to study--I didn't feel like I had to study ALL of math, for example!
Thank you so much. I just took the practice A test and the math really didn't have many word problems like I keep hearing on here? Do you think the actual teas math is more like the manual ( worded wise) or the practice exams straight forward?
Thanks for your help. I'm so nervous. Omgí ½í±Œ
Actually, I would say that the math word questions on the test were in-between the ATI book and the Mometrix: some longish ones, a few short ones, but mostly kind of in the middle. (Although my memory is already fading a little from yesterday when I took it.)
I guess the best advice I can give is to just make sure you understand all the topics in the manual: speeds, percentages, fractions, basic algebra, etc. Then, don't spend too much time on a question if you don't understand it. I found myself working on one to the point that I lost track of time--I had time to finish the rest, but just barely. Don't spend so much time on the hard ones that you don't have time for the easier ones that come later!
Also, don't be too nervous--I did better on the actual test than on the practice ones.
Omg thank you so much. Congratulations on doing better. Now I have a better idea of how the math will be worded í ½í±Œ I think you definitely gave me some good advice. I've heard so many horror stories of people running out of time on the math because of the long worded problems. I will continue to focus on the main things emphasized in the teas manual.

Well, good luck on your exam!! I'm sure you'll do well. xo
Thank you so much for your advice and time. You're awesome í ½í±Œ
