Molloy University Accelerated Nursing Spring '23

Updated:   Published

Hi,

I was accepted to the accelerated nursing program at Molloy for Spring 2023. Just looking to start a thread ?

I was accepted as well. Do you know how long the program is? I’m heading 2 or 3 years

Hi Natalie! To my knowledge, it is 3 Spring semesters and 2 Fall semesters. So a little over 2 years. I am going to be setting up my class registration meeting soon (got the email last night).

I am trying to apply for the Spring 2023 semester as well. I just have to take my TEAS exam. If you don’t mind me asking. What did you score on the TEAS exam? How long was the acceptance process? Any details would help.

Hi Nhaomi! I took the TEAS a while ago and don't know my exact scores off hand, but I know I got over an 80 on the Reading and I believe a 92 on the Math section. I applied on a Thursday and got my acceptance the following week. The process was super quick. Good luck!!

Yes, I believe it is a total of 5 semesters!

Did you complete all prerequisites before choosing to start the program? Good luck!

I thought I did LOL but turns out the Chem class I have was not the right one required by Molloy so I am taking it this semester with my first nursing class. Means I'll be taking classes over the Summer to catch up. Definitely would be best to have all of them done prior to the program. (In my opinion)

Thank you so much! its A&P 1 and 2, microbio, organic and biological chem, psych, stats, sociology, and nutrition?

Do you mind sharing some of the book requirements for your nursing courses?

Hello, I'm looking to apply for the fall of 2024 ABSN. I didn't do well in organic chemistry so have to take organic and biological chem through portage and also retake A&P one. My cumulative GPA is 3.54, however, I'm a little stressed with these retakes what do you guys think my chances of getting in are?
