Hi All,
I know there are already many threads on this topic however im still at lost and hope to find answers here.
I currently just finished my sophomore year at a 4 yr CUNY school. To be honest i havent been doing exactly excellent and i know theres no one to blame but myself. The freedom that came with college got a little to my head. I have been trying to buckle down and do better . Currently I have mostly C's and B's . As far as science prereqs i have taken only General Bio I and II. The first Bio i got a C- which i know is not good enough and i definitely am planing on retaking it as far as BIO II i have not received my grade yet but i suspect at least a C which i know could be better but atleast it meets their minimum requirement of C.
As for my GPA is currently a 2.6 which needs alot of work. Im planning to take my other science courses such as Chem , Statistics etc. So i was wondering if i do better in the next 2 semester and bring my GPA to at least a 3.0, hopefully over that because i read a lot of people who got accepted generally have over a 3.0.
1)what do you think the chances of my acceptance would be honestly?
2)What if i only am able to achieve a 3.0 in that amount of time , will that not be good enough since i heard of many ppl getting above that ?
3)Also if i do good on the TEAS test would that help them overlook my bad grades a little?
4)Do you think i should just finish my BA in Biology and then apply for a dual degree or do good the next 2 semesters and try to transter?
If anyone has any advice regarding on how i should approach this please lmk ! i am so lost with this whole thing and thanks so much !?
