I am on an ambulance and for our pt the require TCP we have either diazepam 5mg or midazolam 2mg. Which drug do you think would be a better choice to go with? And if you could perhaps why you think that.

not sure what TCP is. valium lasts longer, both DOA and half-life. versed is shorter acting all the way around, and is water soluble. i use versed all the time. don't use valium anymore, haven't since the ICU.
