recently interviewed with one for a PRN gig in addition to my current PRN job at a hospital. It's not a med spa or physical building ordeal - you go to people's homes to hang vitamin bags etc for hangovers, immunity boosts, etc. seems very lucrative, especially for the location I'm in - but I wanted to ask opinions on this kind of job from a nurse perspective since I've only been able to talk with the owners of the franchise who are not medical professionals. My main concern is safety. Let's say I go to a group of college guys staying in a bnb and give them infusions for a hangover for example. Here I am a woman in a home with 5 guys. You know what I mean? I'll ask further questions at my next interview regarding safety but just wanted to see if any nurses have personal experiences and can attest to whether this is any different from generic home health in regards to safety concerns - I understand the clientele may differ. I've done home health before.
thank you!
