Hello. Anyone applying to MGCCC or already in the nursing program? How competitive is it? I know the minimum scores, GPA, etc. to apply, but does anyone know the average scores of people who get admitted?

I was accepted into the program for fall 2021.

I don't know the average scores, but I'm 21/73/3.57.

Living in county gets first dibs, then state, then OOS.

Congratulations! My name is Josh. It's nice to meet you. I got mine on the 16th! Are you doing any prepping? I got a fundamentals and pharmacology book online but only just started looking at them. I am excited and nervous at the same time!

Josh, congratulations to you, too! Yeah, I have been doing some prepping. My pharmacology book seems to be lost in the mail, but hopefully it shows up soon. But just looking at all the concepts so far, I feel very overwhelmed! But excited.

I don't have the pharmacology book yet but have been looking at study techniques specifically for pharmacology.

I just got the little spiral bound Mosby's Pharmacology Memory Notecards book.

Which study techniques have you been looking at for pharmacology?

I read not to bother with memorizing every detail, just focus on pre/suffixes

M-echanism of action

A-dverse reactions

C-ontraindications

I'm going to try this
