I was rejected by palomar with 85 points, but was accepted by grossmont and city college, it was super compative in palomar, if you have 90 and up than you are accepted to any of the San Diego public schools nursing program, palomar had stopped at 86 points and Put few students with 85 on a waiting list. I am trying again this time because I live closer to palomar school.
@Goddess6 same, I’m applying to palomar and hoping to have 87 points, but I’m not sure about one of my life experience points, I wish we knew right off the bat what points will be accepted LOL. For certain points (educational/social disadvantage, etc) it seems super broad so I’m hoping it’s a lenient point? I also applied to grossmont, so hopefully one hits. ?
I’m very nervous too, last semester had a crazy high point range!

I wanted to make a thread for people applying to the local community colleges listed above. I’m also curious to know what points usually get accepted for these programs. My points are 95-96 for them but I fear the pandemic may make it more complicated. Please share your plans and also if you know what stats they admit
