I am looking into advancing my nursing career as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) I would like to know, if anyone know a CRNA that is a minority. If so, what CRNA school did he or she attend.
Also, I would like to know, are there any CRNA schools that accept numerous minority applicants.
I have spoken with a minority CRNA; she informed me Suny downstate in New York and LSU CRNA programs welcomes diversity.

I would really hope that in this day and age all schools welcome diversity. If you are asking specifically whether or not being a minority would improve your chances of getting in, that I'm not sure about. I know that being bilingual is considered an advantage by many programs (whether RN or CRNA) and that most CRNA schools feel that there is not enough diversity in their programs. I feel that if a program states that directly, then being a minority (providing that your application is competitive) should get you a few extra points.
