Just got confirmation from Minneapolis school of anesthesia that have received all needed material this application year. Anybody else apply? Can we get some input from former and current students about the program??
I had all of my application materials in to hopefully qualify for the fall of 2015. However, I was accepted to another program and withdrew my application to MSA.
Judging from the email I received (that I'm guessing you also probably got), they start selecting applicants for interviews in November. From the info I've gathered on here and other forums, the interview is more of the laid-back kind. Unfortunately I don't have any first-hand experience with it, nor do I know anyone personally who attended.
However, I will caution you to prepare as if it will be a more intense experience, like an oral CCRN exam, just in case. I prepared that way for my interview at the institution that I will be attending, and I am SO glad I did. In all previous years judging from peoples' online experiences, they had structured the interview in a laid-back manner, but this year happened to be the first year they debuted a more intense style. You never know when they might decide to switch things up...
Best of luck to you! Let us know how it works out for you!
