Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and just have a quick question. My soon to be spouse just landed a new grad job recently and I am in the military and will have to be moving within the next year. It was very hard for her to find the new grad position and we are worried it will be just as difficult to find a job when we move. So the question is, if she works at the new grad job for a year to get a year of experience under her, how much easier will it make it to find a job in the new city? Also does anyone here have some experience with being married to a military member and having to relocate a lot? Thank you for all the help!

The more experience the better!!! It also depends on the area that you will be moving too! I lived in FL for 6 Months and applied to every opening out there and only got one call back the entire time (as a new grad). Then I found out we're moving to TX and was offered a job before we even moved only applying to that one job. My advice would be to get as much experience as your spouse can before yall move and once you find out where your moving and when start applying for licensure for that state/jobs in that area asap! Any other questions I would be happy to help been married to someone in the military a little over a year and already on our third move! lol also, congrats to her for landing a job as a new grad I know how hard that is especially when you know you will be moving frequently!
