Military Nurse?

Published

Hi there! I'm a high school student in a trade school currently taking the nursing classes. When I graduate I'll become a certified CNA and I'm 90% that I want to join some sort of branch in the military part time. We've had recruiters from the Navy, Army, and Air Force come to our school. I've gone up to them and asked them questions such as benefits, being deployed, and training. But I was only able to speak to the recruiters during my short lunch break.

But that 10% of me still isn't sure about the military. I still have some unanswered questions.

  • What is it really like as a military nurse?
  • Would Air force nursing be any better than a Navy nurse?
  • Is sexual harassment/assault still a problem in the military?

Thank you so much for answering my question(s) I really do appreciate it! :)
