I am just wanting some insight on the following courses, which one(s) will I most likely have the most trouble with and which ones are also clinicals?
I am pursing a PN diploma just to get my feet in the door, I feel a little behind in life (not really) I was in the military for 10 years I've been out almost a year and took an a government job, I am doing just fine with that, but I really want to be a nurse I have been preparing and got accepting before getting out the military.
Once I finish the 3 pre reqs, MAT, PSY 203 and BIO 211, I will be starting the actual nursing program in JAN 2019. but I have to have those done.
I am in a position where I can quit the job, because I want to be as focused as possible.
So any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
1ST SEMESTER
NUR 134
NUR 136
NUR 131
BIO 211
2ND SEMESTER
NUR 157
NUR 105
3RD SEMESTER
NUR 227 (COMBINATION OB/PEDS/ADULTS
NUR 144
Am I tripping? but it definitely does not seem like a lot of classes for this program.

I graduated from the PN program at Central Carolina Technical College in 2012 and although it prepared me for the nursing world, it was tough. Thankfully in my situation, i did not have to work while being in the program because it would not have been an ideal situation. Clinicals came in the second semester if i remember clearly ( my favorite part of the program). From my experience....study, study, and study. Being dedicated and hungry for success will definitely get you to the finish line. I wish you luck future nurse!!
I wanted to add that Bio 211 was a little rough for me, but I took all prerequisites prior to starting nursing program so I could have focused only on those classes.
Thank you so much for that....
sad thing is I already had taken bio 211 and got a B+ plus I have to retake obviously because it didn't come with labs,
I am just nervous about dosage cal and med surge seeing that is what people complain about the most well not so much dosage but pharmacology
I was too very nervous about the pharmacology because Math was never my strong subject. But, I actually pulled through with a good B average. I did a lot of practice and studying though. I used the internet a lot to help with an easier learning methods and a good study partner will definitely be beneficial.
