Hey, everyone! I just got accepted into the BSN program at MGSU and wanted to gain a community before starting. I want to surround myself with people that are on the same mission as me.

Hey! What's your schedule like?

First semester, I had Fundamentals, Patho Pharm, and physical assessment. Physical assessment ended up being the hardest class?? so unnecessarily hard.... I wish you the best of luck in that course (hopefully she makes the course better for y'all)

What campus are you at? Also how many days did you have class a week?

Warner Robins. I was the 4x a week. (3 lectures and a lab)… physical assessment has a lab too but it's on the same day as lecture. Fundamentals lab has its own separate day.

So lucky!! You'll definitely have a different instructor. You got this girl. Stay on top of everything so you never get overwhelmed it's so easy to fall behind. When you get your schedule let me know what teachers you have. I loved my teachers for pharm and fundamentals; so if you have them I can definitely tell you what to focus on for exams.

Hello! I applied for the ASN Spring 2025 cohort which will start in January. Any insight would be helpful. I know it will be somewhat different since you're in BSN

Hi there! I do have a friend that is in the ASN program currently and he loves it! He started in BSN with me but unfortunately didn't pass 2 classes so he moved to ASN and is thriving. It's slower paced so you really have time to grasp the material. I believe first semester you only have 2 classes & a lab for ASN. I could be wrong though but it's definitely slower paced & I hear great things about the professors for ASN! You'll do great. If you have any specific questions I can ask my friend and report back.
Thanks for reaching back out to me. I scored a 87.3 on my TEAS my my science GPA should be good I got one C with A's and B's in everything else. I'm registered to take the ENG1102 and Government starting in August which the English is mandatory. If you would ask him, do they do the pass or fail? Do you have to take a ATI exam after each semester? Any study tricks or hacks that he use will be greatly appreciated. I want to try to go ahead and get a jumpstart on studying if I can if possible I can give him my number or give it to you to give to him. I don't want to be a pest. I just wanna go ahead and get this out the way and be done the first time around.I spoke with Mrs. Riggs she did tell me I would commute to Dublin for this cohort. Do the instructor try to help if they see you really want it or trying.
