Hello All! I am fairly certain you don't see posts from parents of nursing students. I respect the group and am trying to help my daughter. I am trying to guide her for her future. She has always wanted to become a nurse. She is bright. I am worried about the very high grade point averages required to actually be accepted into nursing school. She is at community college right now and has a 3.5. She worked her tail off. I don't see her getting a 3.8-3.9. Her heart is in nursing, but science classes are hard for her. Sorry, long. She wants to go to GVSU. Does anyone know the current gpa of the cohorts? Also, what do you think of SVSU? Are the ANY universities in MI that would take a 3.5, for example.
