Michigan Nurses Pay and patient/resident staffing ratios

Published

I live just South of the Michigan line near Sturgis MI. I was wondering what the pay was in MI and the nurse to patient ratios were. In IN I make $15 on 3rd with 50 residents to care for with one to two aides. It's rough! 15 morning BS checks! If you can stop to read this, can't you spend one more minute to answer the question! :rotfl:

I work in LTC in northern Mi (rural) and make 19.26/hr I have been at the same place for 4 yrs, starting rate is around 17.50/hr I think. I care for 20-32 people in a shift with all levels of care. Pay is more in larger cities I hear. Hope this helps. ACF pay a couple dollars less an hour .:)
