I have a Bachelor's in Biology and another in Health Sciences.
Does any one know if Miami Dade makes any substitutions for CHM1033 if you have other CHEM courses? What about HSC0003?
Thanks!

Did you find out anything about it as yet?
I too have a bachelors in Biology.
I believe you have to take the HSC0003 course. The only substitution would be to take the health career core class at broward along with the CPR and domestic violence course there, but that wouldn't really make any sense lol.. that's just more work. If you have taken the same course somewhere else with the same number of hours they may take, but it is a requirement. It should be a really easy course though. I'm going to take it online this summer. As far as CHM1033, I am trying to figure that out my self. I called and asked an advisor and she said you it MIGHT be able to be waived if the science courses you have taken are of a higher level, but she is not certain, you would have to bring your transcripts in.
Sorry for the long response! I hope it helps! :)

Hello,
They will override CHM1033 for CHM1046 + lab (which you have from your bio degree)..they did it for me. You need to take HSC0003 (super easy course).
Good luck!
