Hello, 2019 applications are around the corner, I am wondering what are the average points people are getting for merit criteria to be considered for College of San Mateo?

Do you mean this round of applicants or just in general from past years? I'm also applying to CSM and would like to know as well!

I'm hoping to get an idea regarding the average number of points people are getting to be considered for the program. Any insight would be great.

I calculated my points to be roughly 70 depending on how I calculate my GPA by quarter or semester units (I did it by semester since CSM is on a semester system). Do you know if there's a minimum number of points to be eligible to apply? I read the information sheet on their website but all I see if minimum GPA.

I don't believe there is a minimum, the higher your score the higher your chances are to get in. 70 is great is it with or without your teas score?

So they rank people according to the number of points? That seems fair. Although I don't know if I prefer that or a lottery system haha. I counted with my teas (89.3).

Thanks, I really hope so! My GPA's not the highest and I really wanted a higher teas but oh well. What are your stats if you're willing to say?

I haven't taken the teas, but even with a perfect score I don't believe my numbers are anywhere near yours.
