@simplykc,
The process is long. First you sign up for the NLN pre entrance exam. You have to pass it to be able to apply for the program. You have to call them to find out when the next text takes place, and when the programs start if you pass.
When you apply, you answer a questionnaire which is the application, then you do this:
Submit application fee of $50.00 to Mercy Hospital School of Practical Nursing in the form of credit card, debit card, cashier's check, money order or cash. If paying by credit card or debit card, please see attached authorization form. Complete this form and return to the School for processing within 7 business days from completing the application. An email will be sent confirming payment. Applications will not be process until payment has been received.
Ensure that the required three letters of reference have been sent to the School (please see attached reference letter form). Letters of reference must be sent by the referring individual directly to the School. Hand delivered references will be accepted only from the referencing individuals themselves.
Ensure that your high school transcript or GED certificate has been sent to the School and bear the seal of the institution.
Ensure that all college/university/Vocational transcripts have been sent to the School and bear the seal of the institution.
After that you go to an interview wit the director and write a short essay explaining why you want to be a nurse and another questionnaire.
After all that you get a response in a few weeks with the acceptance letter.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.
Good luck!

Good day everyone this is my first post. I start nursing school in January and want to connect with people who have been to or are attending Mercy School Of Nursing.
I got accepted and did all my errands to be able to start in January.
If there is anyone out there that can fill me in on how the Mercy School Of Practical Nursing experience is or was for them, please let me know. I'm very excited to start this Journey and will do my best to finish it and make my family, school, and class proud.
OK, well cheers!
