Medsurge nurse vs correctional nurse

Hi everyone.

I am currently a medsurge nurse and is experiencing burn out. I just realize medsurge isn't for me. I just recently applied to the county jail and got the position . My question is for the nurses who have experience in both medsurge and in the jail. Which one did you prefer and why? I just don't want to make a mistake of leaving medsurge and it being worse inside the jail. Thank you.
