Medical College of Georgia Interview

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Just wondering if anyone has gone through the MCG CRNA interview recently? I will be interviewing next month and could definitely use some tips/info.

Is it clinical questions? Get to know you type questions?

Also, just for a general feel: Do you think that your stats (gre, gpa, years experience) get you the interview and then how you do in the interview determines whether you get accepted? Basically, if your grades are lower than another interviewee but you interview better do you think that you will be accepted over the other?

Finally, anyone have an idea how many MCG interviews and how many they accept?

For those that have been accepted/rejected to MCG over the years - do you mind posting your stats/info?

Thanks in advance!

The last 2 interviews that I can speak about from personal knowledge has been "getting to know you type of question". Why CRNA? How will you cope with the stress of school? Strengths? Weaknesses? Why MCG? etc etc.

They usually interview around 50 and select 20.

Just my opinion but I think if you are granted an interview, you are on even ground with others. The interview is the make or break event (or deciding factor).

Stats - 14 yrs as a nurse (various areas). GRE >1000. GPA 3.8.
