I am considering take the medical assisting program (diploma) at Wake Tech.
I am considering hurrying and sending in an application for the program that begins in the Fall.
I am a little confused about the clinical times. I have searched for when the courses are offered and I am not sure how long a clinical day is.
The thing I am most worried about is that I cannot get financial aid, so I am planning on paying out of pocket. I was told by one person that I would have to take the courses exactly as they are laid out in the plan of study (http://www.waketech.edu/programs-courses/credit/medical-assisting/curriculum-diploma/fall-admissions)
I already have college credits, so I would not have to take CIS or English. I could also possibly take a Math and Biology this summer that would count for the Fall requirements of the program.
Taking that into account, I would have to take 8 credit hours in the Fall. According to the tuition and fees for Wake Tech, that would cost $662.50 (and that is only if I am able to take math and biology during the summer).
My question is whether I am able to set up a payment plan for the fall? Also, is $662.50 the only cost when I begin the program or would I have to pay for all three semesters at once if I am accepted?
I have contacted the representatives for this program, but I have been unable to get an answer to these two questions.
Any other comments and/or tips for this program are welcome!
Thank you. :)
Anyone? :)
