Hello all:

I am drawing a blank on how to work this particular problem. It is not a required problem for our assignment, but I still would like to be able to make it come out right. If anyone can give me the steps I would be very grateful. :heartbeat

Here is the problem:

A full bottle of beer is dropped and broken. If the beer spreads in a circle that is 0.50mm thick, calculate the area of the spill in cm squared and the diameter of the spill in cm.

I know that 1oz=0.029573 Liters; I mL= 1cm cubed; and of course that area of a circle = pie times radius squared.

I was going to use those for my conversion factors and try to work this like my other dimensional analysis problems but I keep getting lost.

Any help would be awesome!

I don't have a chance to actually sit down and do the calculations to ensure that this is right, but this may help you....
