Massachusetts FNP student looking for NP preceptors!

Hello,

I am a student at UMASS Boston in the FNP program and struggling to find a clinical preceptor for the Spring 2018 semester. I am looking for an MD, DO, PA, or NP in a primary care, pre-op clinic, or employee health setting that would be interested in taking a student. As an ICU nurse in a specialized setting, I don't have many professional contacts in primary care. Many hospitals and primary care offices already have contracts with other FNP programs and say that they will only coordinate with my school as opposed to me directly. However, my FNP program has told us that we are responsible for finding our own placement. Any assistance, advice, or possible referrals would be greatly appreciated!
