CCBC, BCCC, AACC, HCC, Harford nursing and working fulltime??

Published

I'm sure many people have this same question. Were students able to work full time while completing night/weekend or online nursing programs at any of the schools in the MD area. All of the schools I mentioned have some form of evening/weekend program but they are all slightly different. I just wanted to get feed back from anyone who has attended any of these programs while working. What program did you attend, what was the course schedule like, how many hours were you able to work and was it for the entire program? I know most schools discourage working fulltime but for some its the only way....especially since MD is an expensive place to live. If you tried to work FT & it didn't work out and you had to quit your job I'd like to hear from you too. I've seen some threads where students applied while they were working but not anything about what happened after they started. I'm sure everyone's experience is different and some people might be able to do this while others won't but I just wanted to get different perspectives. Thanks!

So I went back and looked at posts about schools in the Maryland area and asked those who were in Online, N&W, or accelerated programs to weigh in on their experience. (I know I put *way instead of *weigh on some of the posts, I'm getting sleepy here) I'm hoping that will drum up some much needed feedback. My apologies in advance if you were part of multiple threads and got flooded by the same message. Thanks again to all.
