I just finished applying to university in Ontario. all the books say that the average is 70% to get into most schools, but it is actually higher because of the amount of people that apply to the school. i was just wondering what your average was when you were accepted. thanks!!

HI! I graduated in May 2004. 4 years ago when I applied for universities, most universities require about 70% (Uni of Windsor) to 80% (McMaster, Western) average to get into their school. I think Queen's Uni and Ottawa Uni require mid-70%. Some schools require you to fill out an extra form to tell them about what you do outside of school, such as: employment, volunteer, community involvement, interests, etc. So it's not just based on your marks.
My average was in the high 70%'s. =)
All the best to you!!!

When I was in school years ago, they had 60 seats and around 900 applicants. Needless to say, their "average" went out the window.
