Hello all. I was a senior student in a different nursing program but left in good standing due to personal reasons. I have completed my bachelor degree in health administration and would like to return to school to complete my nursing education. I originally considered MTSU but I am not interested in taking an entrance exam for an undergraduate program when I have already completed a degree and have in fact proven myself in another nursing program.
I have recently discovered Marian University's accelerated hybrid online nursing program and was wondering if anybody had any experience with it. I saw that there are other posts pertaining to this school but could not find any that really cover my situation. It sounds like the accelerated + mostly online format would be a double-whammy for difficulty, but I wonder if the fact that I have already been exposed to most of the material would benefit me in any way.
As an aside, I am also wondering if anybody knows what the surgical tech and MT job markets are like in the Nashville area as those are other avenues I am considering.
Did you end up going to Marian? I've applied but am now concerned with the online teaching format and lack of support that I've been seeing on these forums.
