Hi everyone. I just received acceptances to Manhattanville College's ABSN that starts January 2022 and Fairfield University's ASDNU that starts May 2022. They're both accelerated second degree BSN programs. I'm from Westchester, NY. Fairfield, CT is 40 miles away and Purchase, NY is 10 miles away.
The entire application process with Fairfield has left me holding the school in a very positive light. The schools are roughly the same price at 50-55k. I am going to visit both schools this weekend to feel out the campuses. I have a friend currently in Manhattanville's fall 2022 cohort and plan to further discuss her experience with the program. She said she highly recommends it.
Do you think the 40 mile commute to Fairfield is such a con that it should disway me from choosing that school? I do know Manhattanville's program is fairly new, whereas Fairfield's program is more established. I feel as though I want to go to the school I feel most comfortable with, regardless of the 10 mile vs 40 mile commute.
Please let me know what your thoughts are! I appreciate your input in advance!!

Congratulations on your acceptance. I also received my acceptance letter to Manhattanville. I know the program is fairly new but I am looking forward to experience. I am sure whichever you choose you will be a great student/ future nurse. If you do choose Manhattanville I look forward to meeting you. In regards to commute 10 miles is a lot more convenient that 40, however, make the best decision for you.

I’m currently finishing up my application for Fairfield’s ASDNU program and my interview is Wednesday. I’m super nervous because I feel like my application isn’t the strongest. Would you mind sharing your stats and interview tips?

Hey! My name is Ty & I am doing some research on Manhattanville's ABSN program to find any insight. I submitted my application and still waiting for a response, super nerve wrecking. Are you currently in the program or have finished?

The Summer cohort has 20 students. The fall and Spring has 25 students. How much is the tuition for Manhattanville ABSN program?
