Hi,
im 26 years old and currently a mother of 2 small children 6 and 3. I'm now in the first term of my vocational nursing program but my home life is suffering. I feel like I try so hard Rogelio out around the house with things like getting up 2 hours early to get the kids lunches and clothes ready for school or spending time helping them with homework or hanging out for a little when I have free time. My kids seem okay but my boyfriend ( who is now supporting me for the next 15 months) seems irritated at the fact that I never have time for him or I can't make breakfast and dinner everyday of the week anymore. He's always mad at me and keeps saying that school is not that hard. I feel so alone because school has taken over my life and he used to be the one I could talk to but now he doesn't even want to be around me because I don't do what he wants when he wants.ugh I just wish that he could be as understanding as my kids are. What should I do?

Nursing school IS hard, and anyone who says it isn't is lucky. Nursing school is hard work, and dedication. You really have to be committed to the degree you are going to have and the future you will have. Keep your eye on the prize and the future you will create for yourself and your children. Schedule in a day for yourself/family that's just for them if you can and keep the other days for school and work. It's possible to go through nursing school with a family. You just have to be creative in when you study/work and how to balance your time with school and personal life. Learn to manage your time well and you can make it work.
Thank you so much, this definitely helps. I'll try a little harder to balance everything:)
