Folks,
Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum.
I have been working to relocate to WA and the area around Ft. Lewis.
I am sure with the PCS of military nurses that Madigan would indeed have civilian positions. Does Madigan have any folks assigned to recruit nurses or nursing students?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Ed,
Yes, MAMC utilizes a lot of civilian health care professionals. In fact, ICU-E is about 70% civilian staff. I'm active duty at MAMC, ICU-E and my wife is a civilian nurse [+13 yrs]. Sandra Jones is the civilian nurse recruiter at MAMC. My wife has been trying to get a GS RN position at MAMC on 2S [stepdown], but MAJ Mendoza told me that at this time they have no full-time slots.
Contact Sandra Jones to apply as a direct hire for MAMC. If you need any other suggestions related to the area in general feel free to send PM. We have been living in Tumwater [Olympia] since March... and love the area, too!
