I applied for the Psychiatric Nursing program at MacEwan University back in February of this year via. my previous post-secondary marks & was recently put on a waitlist falling short on my GPA. I did call the registrar and they said that there is a possibility for the admission average to change & they can re-evaluate my application if they do. However, I would have to be on waitlist for as long as the entire summer or even until the end of September after 2017 fall term starts. No guarantee if I'll for sure get accepted into the program either.
Being honest here, I am nervous and scared every day on whether I'll be able to get into the program this coming September. My question for everyone is basically what to do in this situation? Has anyone ever stayed on the waitlist & was able to get in/Did you have to wait long to hear back from the registrar? I am in the process of figuring out a back-up plan but if anyone could give me tips on any back-ups, that would be great too!
