lvn to rn several seats available at shepherd in la

Nursing Students LPN-RN

Hi guys,

I enrolled lvn to rn program at shepherd university and is there anyone who has enrolled the program?

Now I am here on campus, computer lab, and I heard that there are several seats available for this coming fall semester. It starts soon. They accept credits from other colleges. I thought there was a waiting list, but they don't. you guys might not know this school. it is in LA and I knew this school from this website. here is the info.

www.shepherduniversity.edu check up the brn website.

hey 2629jjang. I'm about to attend there in the fall also. maybe i'll see you in orientation. What's your name btw.

No waitlist? WOW, I'm interested.. how much is the tuition?? Is this their first LVN to RN class?

so I looked at the other thread regarding this school and I see that the tuition is $40,000...very expensive. another question though - how long does it take to complete the program if you have all your prereqs done?

hmm, 15 months doesn't sound bad at all.. there are other private school LVN to RN programs out there that are 8 months long for the same cost of tuition. i wonder how good the program is and how their current/past students are doing?

this is their first RN class. They also have a nclex-rn course review that has an excellent pass rate as i was told. (in the 90%) the 15 months include all your pre-req's and GE's the school requires.

Hi droop! Were you in the orientation today?

I was there and there are a lot of people. I just heard that they are still accepting lvn to rn program students.

I believe there are some seats available and school still accepts students. Hope to see you on the campus..

The faculty who presented today was so nice and I did not know the policies are so that tough.

I am here on campus now. The lvn to rn class starts next monday so I came to school to check the schedule and borrow the books. I am very excited. At the last monday orientation, I saw several faculty and I like them. The way they speak is clear, neat, and professional. I was little worried before I enrolled the program, but now I am only thinking about going through the program and becoming a rn. I know the private is expensive but it is worthy.
