LVN or RN, that is the question

Well I want to be an RN and right now I'm working on my last requirement so I can go into an RN program. I've been hearing from people in the field , usually RN's with BS's, that it is better to start as an LVN and then go to school for the LVN to RN program, but since I'm almost done with the requirements I think is better to go straight to the RN program, although lately I've been having my doubts and I would like to know which is the best way to go if RN or LVN. Oh I'm so confused :uhoh21:
