LVN program at westmed college

I was just wondering if anyone had any information about westmed college in merced ca. It is a branch from san jose which is accredited. Westmed merced is now approved but not yet accredited. Is this because it is a new school? I am just doing some research before I attend the program. Any information anyone has will be helpful.
